For the first time, I'm bringing my work into a physical space and opening it up to the public.
This May, I'll be participating in Marin Open Studios — two weekends where artists across Marin County open their studios and exhibit spaces to visitors. You can walk in, see the work, talk to the artist, and take something home if you find a piece you love.
I'll be showing at VenturePad in downtown San Rafael:
VenturePad, 1020 B Street, San Rafael, CA 94901
May 2–3 and May 9–10, 2026 · 11am–6pm · Free admission
We're turning this into a serious digital art exhibition for Marin Open Studios, with animated works, wall projections, Augmented Reality art, and other curiosities in addition to the print collections.
What you'll see
The exhibit will include work from my two recent series: Exposures and Hatches.
Exposures is my most ambitious project to date, with figures navigating vivid, disorienting abstract worlds, rendered in a faux hand-painted style. It was featured at the Miami Digital Art Fair at Art Basel Miami in 2024. Seeing these pieces large-format on canvas, rather than on a screen, reveals a texture and depth that's hard to appreciate digitally.
Hatches is my newest series, released with Art Blocks Studio in January 2026. Geometric panels organized by simple rules, with watercolor washes and cross-hatching giving each composition a handmade warmth. Inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright's design work and Sol LeWitt's expansive Wall Drawings, the Hatches prints offer an interesting mix of vintage styling and digital structure.
An example from the Hatches seriesBoth series will be available as limited edition fine art prints, framed and ready to take home. I'll also have some older work on display from Windwoven and Eccentrics.
In addition I'll be showing some digital-only works including the Augmented Reality enhanced Ballistics virtual sculptures, and various screen-based animated works. We'll have some playing cards too.
Why in-person?
I've been releasing digital artwork for years and almost all of it has lived online and been viewed on screens. It's interesting to see how code-based generative art changes character when it's printed and framed.
My intention with the Hatches and Exposures collections was to create art that can stand alone as printed works, art that's less obviously computer-assisted.
Marin Open Studios feels like the right moment to try this. It's a strong local community of people who care about art, who are curious about process, and who enjoy the experience of meeting the artists who make the work. I'm looking forward to those conversations.
If you've been following the work online and have been curious what it looks like in person, please visit!
Find me in the directory
I'm listed in the official Marin Open Studios directory and in the printed directory and maps, which will be published soon.
Hope to see you at the event!
